Learn The Rules Of Chess For Beginners By Watching The Hands-On Interactives.
By: Krishan Jhunjhnuwala

Feb. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- With iBooks® 2, Krishan Jhunjhnuwala, a FIDE chess master and author, has crafted “Multi-Touch Chess Kid Rules Of Play”, a chess book designed to emulate the experience of playing chess. Instead of lengthy explanations, Multi-touch Chess engages readers with hands-on interactives. These interactives aptly named “Show Me” allow you to learn the rules of chess. Simply touch the iPad® screen to begin.

Krishan wanted to write a book that teaches children the rules of chess in a language that was simple and easy. After some thought, he realized that the best way to learn the rules of chess is by demonstration.

The book is free because from personal experience he knows that chess can have a positive impact in a kid’s life. The benefits of chess for kids are increased improvements in academics (especially mathematics and science) and develop better concentration and logical thinking.

This book is suitable for ages 9 years old and above. Kids younger than 9 might need adult supervision.

"Multi-Touch Chess Kid Rules Of Play" was released on the iBookstore℠ on Dec. 3 and is available for download on the iPad® for free.
