Feb. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- SATO, a leading supplier of solutions for barcode printing, labelling, RFID technology, and automatic identification and data capture (AIDC), is exhibiting at this year’s CeBIT exhibition in Hanover, Germany, together with its distributor WAROK. Like SATO, WAROK is a pioneer in automatic identification and, as a value-added distributor, provides comprehensive service and support for SATO products.  Visitors can meet experts and learn more about SATO’s latest products, such as its new GZ printers, as well as proven technologies and current projects at Stand C50 in Hall 5.

The GZ family, which SATO has developed specifically for printing shipping and logistics labels, is being exhibited for the first time at CeBIT. These products combine high speed (up to 250 mm/s) with high quality printing of text and barcodes at an extremely attractive price. SATO expects the printers to set a new standard for the transport and logistics industry by increasing traceability, boosting efficiency, reducing operating costs and creating a competitive advantage.

SATO is also demonstrating its expertise in a broad range of industrial sectors with selected products. The highlights include the TH2 stand-alone printer, which is an ideal solution for the retail sector and fast-food restaurants as it is a versatile mobile device. The mobile printers in the MB series are light, ergonomic and robust, which makes them particularly suitable for printing on site and on demand for applications in the retail and warehousing sectors. SATO’s CG2 printer is a good entry level product for creating wristbands for patient identification in the healthcare sector, while the CG4 printer with its wide selection of labels is especially suitable in the food sector.

The AutoID specialist is also exhibiting the CL408e printer with RFID capability, which is currently gaining ground for clothing in the retail sector and supports the seamless tracking of items along the entire production chain up to the point of sale. This information is valuable for theft prevention and stock planning. The CL4 label printer with the new auto-serialisation function will also be on display at the stand. This device supports the automatic issuing of serial numbers in addition to global trade item numbers (GTINs), a capability presently provided by only a few RFID printers. In combination with the unique transponder identification number (TID) entered in each RFID chip, this allows clothing to be coded and identified individually and tracked uniquely, even with multiple production sites.
