-- Tom Tillery, Vice President of Financial Planning Advocate, LLC will be presenting a webcast on Friday, February 1, 2013. His presentation is entitled "Job Task Domains, Compliance and Technology: Increasing Efficiency in a Financial Planning Practice." The presentation will focus on the CFP® Board's job task domains and their application in a technology enhanced environment. The presentation is approved for both CPE and CE.
Tom Tillery is also Vice President of Paraklete® Financial, Inc. a "true fee-only" financial planning firm. PFI provides integrated financial planning services to individuals and families, businesses, estates, trusts, charities and foundations without managing assets and without selling products. The firm also assists CPAs around the country with the integration of holistic financial planning into their practices.
Mr. Tillery has more than 25 years of experience in financial planning, insurance, investments, philanthropy and tax planning. Tom earned his master’s degree in Financial Services from The American College, and also holds a master’s degree in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds the professional designations of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®).
Mr. Tillery is a member of AICPA (Non-CPA Associate), the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. Tom has been a long time provider of Continuing Education for attorneys, CPAs, CFP®s, and investment and insurance professionals.
