National Children’s Dental Health Month and Treetop Pediatric Dentistry

Feb. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children's Dental Health Month (NCDHM) to raise awareness about the importance of oral health. Nationwide the NCDHM message and materials reach millions of people in communities across the country.

In New Braunfels, Dr. Brandon Shamblin and the Treetop Pediatric Dentistry staff, double and triple their efforts towards raising the community’s awareness of children’s oral health in the month of February. To accomplish this, the team created “Dr. Brandon’s Happy Teeth Academy”. This year the practice will be sharing this program during the library's storytime, as well as with the local children's museum and several Schools, Preschools and Daycares during the month of February to help education children and parents alike on the importance of children’s oral health.

Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visits helps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.
