-- Windows Server 2012 has been developed concurrently with Windows 8 and, according to Microsoft.com, has been hailed by its developers as the software that has ‘redefined the server category’.
With a host of new features, Server 2012 is a cloud-optimised platform that promotes an innovative, dynamic server infrastructure and is currently transforming the way in which businesses store and manage data.
Originally launched back in September 2012, the software has been met with largely positive reviews from the international IT community and is becoming increasingly utilised by IT support companies, which are responsible for externally optimising and managing their client’s IT infrastructure and, in some cases, their data storage and recovery. ARC Systems, an IT maintenance firm in Essex, has been keen to explore its features in order to bring their clients an even more efficient data management service.
“We have now had several months since the new software’s launch to compare it with previous platforms,” explains one of the IT support specialists at the company. “We think it is a great improvement on earlier programmes thanks to its enhanced data security and compliance, an element of its design which is particularly important to us and to our clients. The new project visualisation tool also helps us manage simultaneous projects much more efficiently.”
Review sites such as TechRadar.com have been quick to note that Server 2012 has made a plethora of high-budget features available to companies with lesser IT budgets, a move that has made server management a much more cost-effective prospect for small to medium sized businesses.
ARC Systems offers a wide range of IT support services to Basildon and throughout Essex. The company specialises in project management and network support and provides a number of competitively-
priced outsourcing packages that are perfect for budget-conscious SMEs in the local area. For quotes and more information, please visit http://www.arcsystems.co.uk
