Sara Taylor Appointed Executive Assistant at Cavignac & Associates
Taylor will provide high-level administrative support to executive managers and coordinate agency’s marketing communications activities
In this position, Taylor will provide high-level administrative support to agency executives and be directly responsible for data integration, marketing and public relations projects, social media and website maintenance. Specifically, she will ensure design standardization of agency documents, prepare various collateral and presentation materials, oversee production and distribution of five different client newsletters, manage social media and online blogs, serve as the point-of-contact for the company’s advertising and public relations agency, coordinate internal public relations and fundraising events, and organize new client meetings, education seminars, vzyno staff meetings and principal retreats.
Earlier career experience includes having served four years as executive assistant for The Irving Group, a commercial real estate broker representing tenants, and two years as an administrative assistant for Kids Korps USA, a nonprofit youth volunteer organization that engages young people, ages 5 through 18, in community service. She was exposed to the risk management and insurance industry early on through her father, who owns his own insurance agency.
A graduate of the University of Arizona, Tucson, Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. She has completed courses in meeting planning and graphic design.
She is a past member of Meeting Professionals International. Her civic involvement includes serving as an administrator and volunteer for NSW Family Foundation, an organization that raises funds for families of Navy SEALS.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nev., Taylor currently resides in the downtown San Diego community of East Village. Her leisure pursuits include entertaining, volunteering, enjoying live music and following the San Diego Chargers.
