By: PopUp Republic BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (January 30, 2013) - PopUp Republic (www.popuprepublic.com) The pop-up, the brainchild of Bravo TV’s “Gallery Girls” star Amy Poliakoff entitled “A Night of Art Meets Fashion”, is one of the highlights of New York’s Fashion Week. It represents a unique convergence of exceptional artists and designers within the once-in-a-lifetime theme that is the hallmark of pop-up events. Various art works by established and upcoming artists will be displayed and sold and unique fashion items from New York Fashion Week designers will be showcased by live models. There will be a special presentation called “Leather” by designer Stevie Boi (Lady Gaga, MIA, Vogue) amid a crowd of celebrities and stars from the worlds of art and fashion. The night will begin with a special musical performance by recording artist Koortwah. One of the highlights of the evening, which will serve as a fundraiser for The Women's Cancer Research Foundation and The Hurricane Sandy Relief Kitchen, will be generous contributions from EuArt presented by Ilaria Niccolini Productions, New York Fashion Week designer Michael Kuluva of Tumbler and Tipsy, and artist Nora Mulheren. Erik Rosete, international fashion brand and lifestyle manager, will be producing the event along with Bridgette O’Brien, a well-established NY-based publicist and event planner and Bubble Fish Media, a leading events marketing and PR firm. In speaking about the event and PopUp Republic’s association with Amy Poliakoff, Jeremy Baras, PopUp Republic’s president, said “We are happy and proud to be associated with this event. Pop-ups are an emerging trend, bringing spontaneity and creativity to the forefront of the worlds of artistry and commerce. Pop-ups are fun, impromptu, and one-of-a-kind -- sort of like Amy, actually. We are thrilled to be involved with this great event.” For media-related questions, contact: Jeremy Baras PopUp Republic jbaras@popuprepublic.com End
