TÜV SÜD participates at India International Leather Fair

Jan. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Chennai, January 30, 2012: With an aim to expand its fast growing leather testing and certification business in India, TÜV SÜD South Asia today announced that they will be participating at the India International Leather Fair 2013 for the fourth consecutive year. Similar to the previous years, leather technology experts from the company will engage with key stakeholders of the leather industry to focus on the latest developments of the industry and educate them on how they can partner with TÜV SÜD to overcome operational and regulatory challenges. The event is scheduled to take place at the Chennai Trade Centre from the 31st January – 3rd February.

The India International Leather Fair is a key event for the Indian leather industry as it helped participants generate 9384 trade queries and obtain 630 distributorships in its last edition. This year too experts suggest the fair could generate business of close to USD 284.4 million.
