Jan. 29, 2013 - PRLog -- “We came off of Revival IX (fall of 2012) excited and revitalized by the nine guest speakers who brought fresh insight, vision and encouragement to our church. We eagerly revamped our small group format, giving our own members of The Rock Church (TRC), which includes talented teachers, coaches, authors, parents, leaders and speakers, a forum where they could serve others through a small group atmosphere. There is something extraordinary that happens when people get together over a common interest and we are excited to launch our Spring 2013 Connect Groups which will begin the week of February 10th. I can’t wait to hear the testimonies from those who attend!” - Jeff Knight, Lead Pastor, The Rock Church

What is a Connect Group?

Connect Groups at The Rock Church are created around the passions of those at TRC and are open to members and non-members. The gatherings of fifteen or so people occur in convenient locations all across Snohomish County (Washington) in order to study the Bible, share a common subject, serve alongside one another and grow in faith while providing an opportunity to meet some great new friends.

Connect Groups meet once a week and each meeting is just sixty to ninety minutes long. Groups begin the week of February 10th and last through April, so your group will meet ten times over the semester. It’s a short commitment, but the positive impact on your life will be long-term!

“I had never had the experience of a small group before. It absolutely opened doors for me; not only in my spiritual life, but in my personal life… LIFE CHANGING! I cried the first night I was there; my soul found the loving, supportive fellowship it was thirsting for. I loved it and can’t wait for my next group!” Daisy Jasso

How can I be sure there’s a Connect Group that’s right for me?

There are a wide variety of groups: from couples to singles, from teens to mature adults, for artists to parents to gender specific, from education to activities. You will have the chance to share your life experiences with others who have similar backgrounds or interests and there is something going on every day of the week.

What is the cost of a Connect Group?

The majority of the groups are FREE while others require a small resource (e.g, book, venue) fee. When you choose and sign-up for your Connect Group, you will find a “Purchase Connect Group Resources” link that will list the book or item you need. Purchase it directly from our Amazon store and have it shipped directly to your home in time for the group to begin.

“Connect groups are safe, comfortable places giving people the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and grow spiritually in a smaller group.” – Katheryn Padilla
