What started out as a project to address the lack of consolidated information for divers on the Internet, has ended up becoming an international platform, accessed monthly by over 25,000 divers. After receiving an initial investment from the investors Mola.com from Mallorca, Divescover has developed a booking engine that allows divers from around the globe to book directly with the dive centres at the best price available. The system delivers first-hand information to the user and is enriched by the divers themselves with their opinions. The site now has over 15,000 dive centers, 10,000 dives, 3,000 photographs and 2,000 destinations. There is a big emphasis on popular diving regions in the world such as the Maldives, Bali, Philippines or Red Sea diving To speed up the processing of that amount of information, Divescover has renewed its search mechanism, making it a simple and intuitive. The new design allows you to enter a query in the search box and get tips instantly about centers and destinations. There are no cumbersome forms to fill in, boxes to tick or settings to worry about. Furthermore, the new booking engine allows a direct booking with the dive center or boat, with the best price available, in addition to packages tailor made to the diver or dive group. The user can find the information they want quickly and easily. Get information on dive sites in an area and the characteristics of the site, choose a dive center in a specific region and get contact details, location, pictures and reviews of the centre from other divers with the best price available. Similarly, the dive centers can showcase their centre and tell users what they have to offer.
