Here at Pleasure Lake France we are pleased to report the fish are feeding well so come the summer months we are sure to have plenty of healthy fish for our customers to catch. Last year during the month of June one lucky angler, Paul Altabas, caught a 175lb catfish here at Pleasure Lake France. As well as these large catfish there are plenty of other fish waiting to be caught, particularly large carp. In fact the average weight of carp caught last year was in the region of 30lb per fish, so you can see we have great fish in our well stocked lake just waiting to be caught here. There really is something for everyone here at Pleasure Lake France, whether you are new to fishing or you are an experienced angler. You can bring all of equipment with you if you like, but if you prefer to travel light you can hire everything you need from us here at the lake. We even provide the scales to weight your fish.

You can book holidays for individuals, or should there be a gang of you wanting to come and visit us here in the French countryside we can cater for up to seven anglers at any one time. You can unwind and take in the wonderful countryside and revel in the beautiful views that are on offer. The lake itself has recently had some renovations taken out with weeds, trees and those annoying crayfish all removed, which will make your fishing trip a far more enjoyable experience.

There are a few simple rules that we ask all of our visitors to obey, rules that will make your fishing stay a pleasurable one. Three rods per angler is all we allow, with a minimum main strain breaking line of 15lb. We do have a few rules regarding what baits can be used so we do ask all out visitors to comply. Just ask us what you can and cannot do and we are only too happy to advise you.
