BOC-Approved Continuing Education for Athletic Trainers

Jan. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Current Athletic Trainers (ATs) have a 12/31/2013 expiration date. Fifty (50) hours of continuing education must be completed in order to recertify with the Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer.

Continuing education (CE) requirements are intended to promote continued competence, development of current knowledge and skills and enhancement of professional skills and judgment beyond the levels required for entry-level practice.
