Follow on Google News | Taylor & Taylor Sponsoring All American Air Table Tennis ClassicThe St. Augustine criminal defense law firm is providing a sponsorship for a table tennis tournament fundraiser aimed at benefiting nonprofits organizations in the local area.
The event, which is titled “Have a Heart for Hope,” will take place on Feb. 9 at The River House, which is located at 179 Marine St. in St. Augustine, Florida. The fundraiser consists of three divisions of tournament play from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. There will also be cocktails, dinner and dancing from 6:30 p.m. until midnight. The organizations that will benefit from the funds raised by the event include the Emergency Services & Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County, Good Samaritan Health Centers’ Wildflower Clinic and THE PLAYERS Championship Boys & Girls Club in St. Augustine. AAACF is a nonprofit organization that aims to provide financial support for other St. Augustine-area nonprofit charitable groups through fundraisers it organizes and operates, according to the foundation’s website. AAACF started as a philanthropic outreach effort by All American Air Conditioning, Heating and Appliances, Inc., through it eventually broke out on its own as a charitable organization. The foundation makes financial support available to various types of organizations that help better the lives of local residents, ranging from groups that provide arts education to children to those that facilitate cancer research. According to AAACF’s website, organizations that receive funds must first be selected by the foundation’s board. The attorneys at Taylor & Taylor have more than four decades of combined experience. They assist individuals— Attorney Clyde M. Taylor, Jr.—who has tried more than 200 cases during his career—is a member of various professional organizations. Those include the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL). He also formerly served as president of FACDL’s Tallassee chapter. He and the other attorneys at the firm have valuable experience in criminal law that can greatly benefit individuals in the local area who are trying to avoid criminal convictions.
