On this women-only journey, guests have an opportunity to capture the true essence of local Burgundy culture, cuisine, lifestyle, and wine---all from the deck of a charming river boat.

Passengers travel from bustling cities to quaint hamlets and the lovely French countryside aboard the barge at a peaceful at 2-4 miles per hour, offering a truly relaxed sightseeing pace. A barge towpath runs alongside the canal, giving travelers the option to walk or bicycle between the river’s locks or stay on board and enjoy the scenery. The barge makes stops along the way, giving guests the opportunity to hop on and off to cycle through the nearby villages or explore the towns by foot.

Each day the barge tour begins with a guided shore excursion via an air-conditioned bus. Motor and walking excursions include some of France’s most famous cities and towns in the region like Dijon, Longecourt, Seurre and Beaune. On these daily excursions, travelers get an authentic look at the colorful local culture, world-renowned art, and historical sites that make this region of France so famous. The elegant barge accommodates twenty-two women in twin cabins, all with full bathrooms and private showers. An experienced bilingual French-English speaking crew are also aboard and provide highly personalized service.
