Jan. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Logan, OH USA — The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls has assembled a yearlong calendar of unforgettable special events, including interactive cooking classes, workshops, fabulous dinners, wine and beer tastings and even a psychic fair.  Located in southeast Ohio’s dazzling Hocking Hills region, many of this year's events take place in the Inn Gathering Place, a one-of-a-kind meeting and events facility with state-of-the-art green features. The 5,000-square-foot, fully handicapped accessible Gathering Place accommodates up to 50 guests. This year's special Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls events include:

Valentine’s Day Dinner, Feb. 9, 14 and 16: Always a sell-out, couples enjoy an elegant and romantic four-course dinner by candle light and 25% off lodging on Feb. 14. Dinner is $55/person.

Wine and Spirit TasteInn, Feb. 22 and April 5, 6 p.m.: In February, wines from down under (Australia and New Zealand) will be featured with wine expert, Julia Whittingham returning to educate guests on these excellent wines.  Then in April, local artisan distiller Watershed Distillery visits for tastings of vodka, four peel gin, bourbon barrel gin and bourbon. Appetizers and dinner are included. Wine TasteInn is $85/person; the Spirit TasteInn is $75/person.

Easter and Mother’s Day Brunch; Father's Day Barbecue, March 31, May 12, June 16, 11:30 a.m.: Guests are encouraged to celebrate special spring and summer holidays at The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls with an unforgettable family meal, featuring mouth-watering favorites, including the Inn's legendary berry cobbler. All gatherings are just $21/adults, $12/children.  

Gorgeous & Green Classes with Kellie, May 21, Aug. 8 and Dec. 5, 11-2 p.m.: Inn gardener and nature enthusiast Kellie Hutchison shares professional planting techniques in May; how to create beautiful flower arrangements in August and how to craft gorgeous holiday table arrangements in December. These fun, hands-on classes are $55/per person and include lunch and all supplies.

Wine & Beer Fest, July 27; Sept. 7, 2-5 p.m.: Wine and beer connoisseurs will be wowed by local craft brewmasters and winemakers, such as Matthew Barbee of Rockmill Brewery, Wine Trends, Vintage Wines, Hide Away Hills Lodge and Camelot Cellars.  Guests can taste any of five varieties of beer and wine, while sampling artisanal cheeses, fruits, gravlax and tapenade with crostini and flatbreads.  Cost is $25/Person or $6 for individual pours and reservations are not needed. Retail shopping and great music will also be available.

Expo for Guidance Psychic Fair, Sept. 22, 10-5 p.m: Guests seeking spiritual guidance, answers, or just a fun creative experience will enjoy the psychic fair.  The region's most gifted mediums, psychics, clairvoyants and therapists will offer readings, chair massages and ionic footbaths.  Clairvoyant Brenda Frazier, the event's keynote speaker, will also be available for private readings.

Thanksgiving Dinner at the Inn, Nov. 28:  Friends and family will give thanks and eat a bountiful meal at the Inn this Thanksgiving. With all of the traditional fixings, guests are encouraged to reserve early because this dinner always sells out. Cost is just $42/adults and $21/children 10 & under.

Holiday Cookie Baking, Dec. 6 and 8: Join "cookie queen" and breakfast cook Joan Heitman for the Inn’s most popular and longest-running cooking class. This hands-on class is always a sellout, with guests baking five different generations-old family recipes carefully selected by Joan and Innkeeper Ellen Grinsfelder. Lunch is provided and guests receive a box of cookies to take home, along with the fabulous recipes. Cost is $55.

Gingerbread Cottage Class, Dec. 7, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.: An ideal event for friends and family, guests will enjoy this retro fun start the holiday season.  Each attendee will make his or her very own gingerbread house take away and enjoy at home.  The Inn supplies all of the tools and ingredients to design and decorate his or her own creation.  The class requires no baking, and each cottage is ready to decorate and is 100% reusable.  Cost is $38/person and includes all supplies and lunch.

New Year’s Eve Celebration Dinner, Dec. 31: Inn chef Anthony Schulz creates a feast worthy of celebration for couples and groups wishing to ring in the New Year in quiet elegance. Dinner is $55/person.
