-- “82% of couples are now DIY’ing for their weddings. They’re opting for the more customized, personal touches they can’t get from shopping commercially,”
says Wedding Mile founder Lee Stein.
The Wedding Mile offers users over 100 categories and subcategories in wedding and bridal, as well as a wedding registry and wedding etiquette advice column. The site also offers content for brides, keeping them up to date with current wedding trends and wedding inspiration.
Stein created The Wedding Mile with three goals in mind:
- To offer brides, grooms, and wedding goers a customized, personalized shopping experience for all their wedding needs;
- To offer sellers a marketplace devoted exclusively to the sale of wedding and bridal goods and gifts;
- To donate a portion of proceeds to help less fortunate brides and grooms fulfill their wedding dreams.
The Wedding Mile was founded by wedding lover and celebrant, Lee Stein. Lee is an entrepreneur, author, and sales professional with over 15 years of sales and marketing experience, both online and offline. She has operated businesses in the retail space as well as web development and design, SEO and social media.
