PODS® of Stockton/Modesto earns 2012 Storage Center of California award

Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- (STOCKTON/MODESTO, Calif.) – Storage Mobility, Inc., the nation’s largest operator of PODS® franchises, is proud to announce that PODS  Stockton/Modesto earned the Storage Center of California honors for 2012. The award was appointed to the franchise that received the highest marks in overall customer service, safety, smooth operations and financial performance. PODS® of Stockton/Modesto beat out seven other California franchise locations for the honor.

“Joel Courage and his team had an exceptional year,” said Ken Ude, president of Storage Mobility. “They set a very high bar in terms of delivering outstanding customer service to their customers in the region.”

PODS of Stockton/Modesto is also active in the community through its charitable donations to various nonprofit organizations. During the 2012 Toys for Tots drive, which is the national charity for PODS® Enterprises, Inc., the moving and storage company donated four PODS® containers and helped collect 18,000 toys for area children.

Other charities the moving and storage company supports each year include: Bethel Church Children's Ministry, BR&JC Homeless Park Ministry, Celebrate Recovery, Modesto Fire Department’s “Fill the Boot for Burns” campaign, CHiPs for Kids toy drive, Assemblies of God Missions Outreach to Africa and Dell Osso Kids Day. In total, PODS of Stockton/Modesto helped save these charities $10,600 in moving and storage logistics for 2012.
