Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- With key fiscal and economic issues in a post-Sandy environment on the agenda, Matthew S. Erskine, Acting Secretary of the U.S. Economic Development Administration will present the views of the administration of President Barack Obama at NAIOP New Jersey's Annual Meeting & Economic Outlook for Commercial Real Estate. Acting Secretary Erskine will provide the keynote address for the January 29, 2013 event, slated for the Sheraton Meadowlands in East Rutherford.
"In addition to its primary mission of leading the federal economic development agenda, the U.S. EDA coordinates the activities of a diverse group of partner agencies supporting economic recovery in disaster-impacted communities," said Michael McGuinness, chief executive officer of NAIOP New Jersey, the commercial real estate development association.

"Secretary Erskine's remarks are especially timely given Congress's recent action on how the billions of dollars in federal aid can best be deployed here in New Jersey to create a more resilient economy," said McGuinness.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with registration and networking. The program will begin with Acting Secretary Erskine's keynote presentation at 7 p.m. To register, or for more information, contact NAIOP New Jersey at (732) 729-9900, or visit http://www.naiopnj.org/.
