IDL Service offers IDL Before Moving Abroad

Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- IDL is a sanctioned document and official translation for the Valid Driving Holders who planning to travel overseas and recognized in 10 various Languages to break down Language Barriers, when a person travelling to Non English speaking countries. It is accepted in 150 countries Worldwide and permitted to the Countries that have signed the 1949 United Nation Convention on Road Traffic and is recognized in many countries that are not signatories to the Convention.
It is issued only to those Motor or Car Drivers who are holding valid driving license(must be currently Valid and working, not suspended or expired) issued by Competent Authorities of His/her Native Country, and can also help drivers to communicate with car rental companies and other authorities. It is translation of multilingual Identification of Person’s Valid License and photo Identification. It is also useful to carry in case of an emergency and additional form of Identification.
To apply for IDL a Driver must have Valid Driving License issued by Competent Authorities of his/her Home Country. He/she must be 18 years of age or above and there is no upper age limit for use of IDL. It also needs standard passport style photographs. One can only get IDP in the country that issued your license and a Person should apply it for 3 months in prior to date of travel. It is valid for 12 months from date issued. One must fill our on-line application and send his photo, signature and a copy of original driver’s license. One can do this while filling application by sending it directly from on-line application by clicking button "BROWSE" and select the files or send it later by e-Mail or by mail. IDL is not a Substitute or Replace of a Government issued DL, but an official Translation. It is not valid for driving where it was issued and not permitted to those who are holding Learner License and to those who are less than 18 years age whether he/she holds License or not would not be accepted.
