Lookupbook Publishing, best known for their Lookupbook New Business Directory, created the free Startup Alerts service to help businesses more easily find new business prospects online.

Less effort, less time, less competition. Startup Alerts come automatically and give you the latest new business listings with just a click of the mouse. To start receiving Startup Alerts, first create a Lookupbook account, then sign in to the Startup Alerts service and select up to 3 SCF zones or one industry category to be monitored.  Whenever Lookupbook acquires a new business registration matching your selection criteria, you’ll receive a new Startup Alert.

Each Startup Alert includes the business name, city, state and date the registration was acquired by Lookupbook.  You can then use the Lookupbook directory to acquire the registered street address.  For local or niche direct marketers, you can also purchase mailing lists of all new startups matching your Startup Alerts monitoring criteria.
