Jan. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Karin Kelts of KMK Films and Breaking Glass Pictures CEO Rich Wolff brokered a deal for the distribution rights of the KMK Films production, Amelia’s 25th on Monday, January 21.

Kelts also stars in the film, which features Hollywood stars Danny Trejo, Jennifer Tilly, Margaret Cho, Ashley Parker Angel and Electra Avellan as Amelia. The movie also features the first on-screen appearance by director Robert Rodriguez of From Dusk ‘Til Dawn and Desperado fame. With a tagline “It’s Not Coming of Age, It’s Coming to Grips,” Amelia’s 25th centers around Amelia, a struggling actress on the cusp of turning 25, an age she believes makes her over the hill in Hollywood. Audiences will see a day in Amelia’s life that features interactions with movie stars, out-of-work movie stars, photographers, casting directors, psychics and even a cross-dressing neighbor.

“When I read this script, I knew it was the right combination of dark comedy that could shine with the right actors, and that’s definitely who we found,” Kelts, a Miami native, says. “It’s a thrilling day when a project we’ve championed finds distribution so others can enjoy it.”

Kelts is no stranger to the entertainment industry, having spent years as an international model and actress. Amelia’s 25th is the second feature film KMK Films has sold into distribution. Kelts’ television production company LongLegs Productions also has two pilots currently in the works.
