Denver "Thrift Shop" Event for Cancer Research
Denver-based social network for philanthropy, SoRewarding, is teaming up with The Ginn Mill to host a special benefit event for local nonprofit The Morgan Adams Foundation this month.
The Morgan Adams Foundation is a local nonprofit that was started by Joan Slaughter and Steve Adams after their daughter died of brain cancer in 1998. This organization works to raise money and awareness on behalf of children affected with cancer. The Morgan Adams Foundation works with leading physicians to directly fund pediatric cancer research and therapies which will improve survival rates.
Anyone who would like to support this cause is encouraged to join SoRewarding The Ginn Mill at 8:00pm on Saturday, February 9 at 2041 Larimer Street in Denver. A portion of the proceeds from the bar between 8 and 11pm will go directly to The Morgan Adams Foundation.
Established in 2011, SoRewarding is a cause-focused social network that integrates giving into your daily activities. The company has created a platform where users can request deals, plan events, sell tickets and create and support fundraisers. For every action on SoRewarding, the company donates to a local nonprofit of the buyer’s choice. For more information visit www.SoRewarding.com and www.RewardingCrew.com.
