Remington College-Memphis Campus Names Dave Shingles Jr. as new Criminal Justice Department Chair
Remington College-Memphis Campus, located at 2710 Nonconnah Boulevard, has named Dave Shingles Jr. as its new Criminal Justice Department Chair.
Mr. Shingles will oversee the curriculum and teach courses in the Criminal Justice Associate’s Degree Program, which utilizes the real-world experience of instructors in both the classroom and through hands-on training.
Mr. Shingles served as a patrolman, undercover agent, and criminal investigator for almost seven years with the Olive Branch Police Department.
Mr. Shingles’ expertise in law enforcement includes cyber-crimes, white collar crimes, crime scene processing, and interview and interrogation. He is also a Certified Firearms Expert.
Before starting his career in law enforcement, Mr. Shingles spent two years as a mental health counselor, supervisor and seven years in the YMCA management, sports, and childcare departments.
Mr. Shingles has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports Management from Tusculum College in Greenville, Tennessee, and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from American Military University in Charlestown, West Virginia.
