Setting The House In Divine Order Ministries Presents A (6) Weeks Teaching For Women,

Feb. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Setting the House In Divine Order Ministries will host a 6 Week Inspirational Bible Study for women ages 18 years and older from March 2-April 13th. The class is entitled “Bad Girls of the The Bible & What We Can Learn From Them” taken from the book by author Liz Curtis-Higgs who has received great reviews for its positive impact in the lives of women.

Ministry Director Monique Lampkin states the goals of the class are as follows: •To foster new and exciting relationships with women through the spirits of love and unity in the Body of Christ in a safe environment for spiritual formation.
• Complete a critical study of women in the bible and the adverse (bad,negative) issues they faced and learn from their stories.
• Expand ones prayer life (discipline) fasting,consecration, time management, etc.
• Recognize the need to be accountable to each other.
• Be transformed by the renewing of one’s mind (soul) according to scripture (Romans 12:2) power of the Holy Spirit and understand how to receive the grace of God.
• IDENTIFY areas in one’s life that need improvement through self assessment.
• Identify ones spiritual gifts and move forward in knowing there purposes in life regardless of age, socio factors, past mistakes, etc.
• Build self esteem and Godly character in women.

The class will be transforming for every woman who attends and participates. In order for the class to make there must be 12-15 students enrolled. Students should not have more than 2 absences  to receive the full benefits of the course and will have minimal homework to complete. Lampkin has a zeal to see women live productive Godly lives. Students are encouraged to be prepared and purchase there textbook in advance if they know they will  be enrolling in March. They should begin reading the Introduction and Chapters 1-3 of the book by the first class.

There is a $60.00 Non Refundable Enrollment Registration to cover incidentals (supplies, rentals, etc.) due at the first class in full.  No member of the ministry board or volunteers will receive payment in any manner.

There will be a a Orientation & Information Conference Calls on the following dates for women in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas.The dates and times are as follows; (Central Time); Monday, February 18th 8-8:30p.m, Sunday,February 24th 7-7:30 p.m. Monday, February 25th 7:30-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 28th 8-8:30 p.m. all questions will be answered on the information call. Persons may listen in on every date for the orientations if they choose too; however connecting only one time is necessary since the call will consist of the same information for persons who were unable to attend previous orientations.

The most exciting part of this class is for the Final Exam there will be a “Closing Ceremony and Public Debut” where students will teachback by presenting themselves as one of the (10) Biblical Characters  known as ‘Bad Girls.”  Students who will not actually be presenters on stage will serve in the roles of helps and administration to ensure a successful event and glorify God as lives of the audience are transformned by the power of God.
