BBB Names Winners of 2012 Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics

(January 23, 2013) — Better Business Bureau serving Eastern NC is pleased to announce Pioneer Services, B & M Roofing Contractors and CarMax as winners of its 2012 Torch Awards for Marketplace Ethics. BBB Torch Awards were created to showcase ethical companies and charities in Eastern North Carolina that build trust, advertise honestly, tell the truth, remain transparent, and honor their promises. Spotlighting these companies and charities fits the BBB mission to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust.

BBB Torch Award entries were evaluated by an independent panel of judges comprised of volunteer business and community leaders in eastern North Carolina. The award was presented at the Annual Meeting of BBB Accredited Businesses held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary.
