Leading Oregon Building Materials Supplier, Pacific Lumber & Truss Company announced today that it has relocated its headquarters to Lake Oswego, Oregon.
The move will bring 25 jobs to Lake Oswego. The jobs include; top administrative and management personnel, sales and logistical operations. As part of the move, the company completed the structure for a new design center and retail building materials center on the site. The center has been open for limited hours with the grand opening slated for March 8th, 2013. The facility is located at 5895 Jean Road in Lake Oswego.
The move will consolidate the companies operation bringing all personnel under one roof, as well as the new retail store. The site also will continue to house Pacific Lumber’s Truss manufacturing plant and its door & millwork division, which provides premier doors, windows, moulding and millwork.
The site was also attractive as Lake Oswego is at the geographic center of the companies’ commercial builder customer base making delivery logistics more streamlined. Pacific Lumber has long been a leader in supplying building materials to some of the area’s largest builders and contractors.
“We are thrilled about the move, it really synergizes our operation. Having all divisions working together is a big step for us, said Jim Morse, owner of Pacific Lumber & Truss Company. “In addition the community is going to love the new Lake Oswego Design Center,” added Morse.
