Jan. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- St. Augustine, FL -- Local novelist Jaeme Haviland has woven unsettling events from the past into a fast-paced story of revenge and redemption set in the Ocala National Forest and Palatka area. The book is dedicated to the memory of missing teenagers Pamela Nater and Nancy Leichner, who disappeared from Alexander Springs in the National Forest almost half a century ago. That incident and several others were the inspiration for his novel.

A Florida native from Jacksonville, Jaeme has lived in Interlachen & Fort Lauderdale, Florida before moving to Nashville, Tennessee and Greensboro, North Carolina. His travels have taken him to places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Toronto & Washington, D.C. as well as to the depths of Mammoth Cave, Kentucky and the pinnacle of Mount Mitchell, North Carolina.
