Lund Cadillac to Donate 2013 Cadillac ATS to Phoenix Children’s Shelter, Crisis Nursery

Jan. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- PHOENIX -- Lund Cadillac will donate a brand-new 2013 Cadillac ATS to Blue Skies, a Rat Pack-themed fundraiser for Crisis Nursery, Phoenix’s longest serving children’s shelter. The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 at the Montelucia Resort & Spa, located at 4949 East Lincoln Drive in Scottsdale, AZ. The Blue Skies event welcomes friends of Crisis Nursery and donors from across the Phoenix area to benefit the organization for the coming year. Attendees will enjoy casino games, cocktails, a super silent auction, fine dining, a live auction, a Rat Pack Tribute Show and dancing.

In an effort to help Crisis Nursery fund its shelter, early education and foster care programs, Lund Cadillac will feature a beautiful brand-new 2013 Cadillac ATS with Cold Weather Package at the live auction. This version of Cadillac’s newest luxury sport sedan just received the prestigious distinction of being named the 2013 North American Car of the Year and is valued at $40,000; 100% of the live-auction proceeds from the ATS go directly to Crisis Nursery. This award-winning car is on display now in Lund Cadillac’s Showroom; the community is invited to visit and take a look at this all-new offering from Cadillac before the live auction on February 23rd.

Last year in the Phoenix area alone, over 12,000 children were abused or neglected by their guardians for reasons such as homelessness, drug abuse, domestic violence, and lack of education or income. Through fundraisers like Blue Skies, Crisis Nursery seeks to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect through safe-haven shelter, educational opportunities and behavioral services, foster care parent training and many other programs that enrich the lives of children and families throughout the Phoenix area.
