Sports Expert & Former UCLA Head Coach Sue Enquist Joins WISE LA Chapter Advisory Board
Enquist brings knowledge of professional leadership in sports as WISE-LA enters 2013
“After coaching individuals on and off the field for 35 years, I’m excited to share my expertise in sports and business as a member of the WISE Los Angeles advisory board,” said Enquist. “Competitive excellence is understanding the daily behaviors that are fueled by discipline and strategic planning. I am excited to join the WISE team and share my experience to women throughout the country.”
Enquist has a prolific track record of leading University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her record for success continues into the business world where Enquist currently owns and operates three companies that specialize in corporate and educational leadership. Over 35 years, at UCLA as a student, coach, and administrator, Enquist developed the vital factors involved in strategic and competitive excellence. She has the NCAA career record for winning percentage (.832) and National Softball Championships (11).

Currently, Enquist is Director of Recruit Education, NCSA Sports, and consultant with Adidas, HUMANeX Ventures, and UCLA Athletics. Enquist gathered the sports and business experience to design instructional videos, training aids and author books on coaching collegiate athletes. Enquist’s business acumen and Softball experience led to the development of hitting software, training bats, and an Ease Slide Wrap to help sports professionals continue to train for success. During her career as a Softball Professional and Coach, Enquist published 101 Offense Drills in 2001 and will debut a book on Competitive Greatness in 2014.
Enquist sits in four Hall of Fames as a player or coach including the UCLA Hall of Fame, Women’s International Sports Foundation Hall of Fame, National Fastpitch Association Hall of Fame and San Juan Unified School District Hall of Fame.
