The annual Consumer Electronics Show is often a place for automakers to announce or debut new technology, and this year, Volvo was no exception. Volvo announced a collaboration with Ericsson and Parrot to introduce a new in-car infotainment setup.
At first, the new system will involve a dealer-installed retrofit kit, which will give drivers the new functionality and interface that’s optimized for touch control.
The retrofit kit will make its debut in Europe, followed by the U.S. later on.
