-- There is a new diet craze that has been big over the last year and that is ViSalus aka "Body by Vi." This is a meal replacement type diet. Meal replacements are OK, for short term dieting which is for a couple of weeks. But they won't help you keep weight off. They are another type of yo-yo diet which will only cause you to gain more weight back in the long run. Meal replacements are best used if you are really busy and don't have time to prepare a meal. You use them sparingly and not habitually.
Only lifestyle changes can help you keep fat off permanently, Fat is what you really want to get rid of more so than weight. A lifestyle change program consists of eating a healthy diet and getting exercise regularly.
