Christendom College Earns SACS Reaccreditation
Christendom College has earned reaccreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
Christendom College received full accreditation in 1987, and was first reaccredited in 2002, and now again in 2012. Each institution of higher learning must seek reaccreditation every ten years. Christendom College received SACS’ highest level of reaffirmation, with no recommendations for improvement, and will not have to seek reaccreditation until 2022. This is the best possible outcome that could result from the accreditation process.
“It was a joy to hear that Christendom College has been fully reaccredited,”
O’Donnell, along with the college’s faculty and staff, enjoyed working with Dr. Mark Smith, Dr. Kathy Dye, and the other members of the reaccreditation committee.
“I was very impressed with the level of their professionalism and helpfulness throughout the process,” O’Donnell said.
