UK Independent Film Production company shows the way to create recession-busting movies.
A micro-budget film is normally the minimum budget for creating a great feature film, but not any more. Ground breaking film - Tanted Love - proves high quality films can be made with cheap technology.
Tainted Love - a 1hour and 48 minute feature film shines above other low budget productions, yet it was made with a single canon 550D camera, and edited on a basic home computer. From conception to final prouction took 18 months including script writing, shooting, and editing.
Is the film any good? Well it's off to International festivals this year and fancied to create a buzz due to its recession-busting costs which enable distributors to maximise their gain.

Who's behind this ground breaking production? One guy - a script writer frustrated with the problems of breaking into the market. "I thought, hey - why not just make the film myself, can't be that hard", says Mol Smith. With decades of business expertise and technology skills behind him through working in the UK's largest corporate comms company, he applied his business skills to the task.
"It's no good being just creative today. You have to use all your skills and experiences if you want to innovate", he says.
No loans, grants, or other investors were used to finance the film project. Most good low budget features produced in the UK rely on grants or external funding.
A second feature film: Dark Matter is now under way with an even more impressive end date and an even lower budget.
