Wheaton Appliance Repair Firm Announces 2012 Food Drive Results

Jan. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Wheaton, Illinois – AAA Appliance Service Center® participated in the Greater Chicago Food Depository food drive named "One City, One Food Drive".  The 2012 drive completed on 16 November 2012. The time, energy, and support provided by all will make it possible for the Food Depository to ensure that hungry men, women, and children in the Chicago community who turn to pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters for emergency and supplemental food each year, will not go hungry. Food drives are an important source of nutritious food for hungry community neighbors.

The problem of hunger in Cook county Illinois is too big for the Food Depository to handle alone. Fortunately, each year, thousands of individuals, corporations, and organizations join the Food Depository in the fight against hunger by organizing food drives to collect food for the community.  AAA Appliance Service Center® is one such company.

AAA℠ set a goal of collecting 600 pounds of food for the 2012 drive. They collected and donated 726 pounds of food, and this will provide more than 545 quality meals for the hungry in the Chicago community.
