#InfluencerCon Gears Up For the Inaugural Session of Amplify

Jan. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY (January 15, 2013) – InfluencerCon is will soon present its first-ever monthly “Amplify” panel at Studio X on January 22nd, 2013.

Veronica Baesso of RonnieSpirit.com will moderate the panel, “The Innovation Runway: Tools for the Emerging Fashion Designer.” The panelists will discuss perspectives on fashion entrepreneurship as well as ways that independent fashion designers and emerging businesses can find resources to innovate within the industry.

Panelists will include:

·       Mary Huang - Co-Founder of Continuum Fashion

·       Bob Bland - Designer, Entrepreneur of Community Art Advocate, Brooklyn Royalty, and ManufactureNY

·       Melissa Hall – Founder of Emerging Designer

·       Timo Rissanen – Assistant Professor of Fashion Design and Sustainability, Parsons The New School for Design

InfluencerCon has been known for covering dynamic content involving influencers/tastemakers since 2010. Since the global launch, a need to expand and continue the annual experience on a monthly basis was noticed by the founder, Phil McKenzie.  “Amplify is our attempt to dig deeper into some of the subjects we broach during InfluencerCon globally. The discussions leading up to the annual conference does just that...amplify these conversations globally in a looser context than a full-blown conference,” McKenzie stated.

The Amplify series will explore and address various topics leading up to the annual conference that will take place in October 2013. In addition to the monthly series, there are also plans to incorporate Google + sessions as well as producing Future Mark trend reports.
