Grand Opening Oceanside Swirls & Twirls Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt Shop; Free Frozen Yogurt* Noon-8 PM

Jan. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Swirls and Twirls self-serve frozen yogurt shop (www.swirlsandtwirlsusa.com), featuring 24 flavors, 50+ toppings and endless possibilities, announces the grand opening of its seventh location at 3185 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, in the Nathan’s Shopping Center, on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 8 am – 12 midnight.  The celebration includes all day music, games, giveaways, face painting, balloon sculptures, and free frozen yogurt (*up to 10 ounces per person; thereafter 49 cents/ounce) served between 12 noon – 8 pm.  Plus contests to win an iPad and free yogurt for a year .

The Oceanside location debuts Swirls and Twirls new all day breakfast bar, which offers assorted healthy breakfast items such as muffins, Greek yogurt, fresh fruit and cereals, as well as the new Swirls to Go yogurt line.  Coffee, tea and an assortment of cold beverages are also available.

“Based on the numerous suggestions for the availability of healthy breakfast items from patrons at our other six locations,” says co-owner Joe Sala, a member of the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, “we decided to implement this option at our new Oceanside shop.”  Based on feedback and sales of Swirls and Twirls breakfast bar, Sala says this feature will eventually be phased into other shops.  In addition to Oceanside, Swirls and Twirls locations include Massapequa Park, West Islip, Patchogue, Nesconset, Levittown and Greenlawn.   Soon to open in 2013 are shops in West Babylon, Centereach, Port Jefferson Station and a second location in Massapequa through the recent availability of Swirls and Twirls franchise opportunities  www.swirlsandtwirlsusa.com/franchise (http://www.swirlsandtwirlsusa.com/franchise.php).

In addition, Swirls and Twirls encourages patrons to sign up for their loyalty program to earn free yogurt.  Once a member, customer’s points are automatically sent to their cell phones making tracking and redemption a snap.
