PODS® of Rochester wins 2012 Storage Center of the Year award
Moving and storage company earns top honor against 20 other PODS franchise locations across the U.S.
“Chad Goodness and his team had an exceptional year,” said Ken Ude, president of Storage Mobility. “They set a very high bar in terms of delivering outstanding customer service to their 1,000 customers in the region.”
PODS of Rochester is also active in the community through its charitable donations to various nonprofit organizations, including: Daystar for Medically Fragile Children, Ronald McDonald House Annual Sale, Hickok Center for Brain Injury, Habitat for Humanity, Faith Temple Church Rubbish Sale, Four-Legged Friends and Lollypop Farm. In total, PODS of Rochester donated 10 PODS® containers, helping save the charities $7,550 in moving and storage logistics for 2012.
“Delivering excellent customer service is always a top priority for our team,” said Chad Goodness, territory manager for PODS of Rochester. “We have worked very hard this year and receiving this award has given us reassurance and confirmation that our work exemplifies the best practices to uphold PODS’ standards.”
PODS provides portable moving and storage solutions for customers who are moving or need extra storage by delivering a safe and secure PODS® container for the customer to load their belongings. PODS can then move the container across town or to many U.S. locations. Customers can also store their container for as long as they want in a PODS climate-controlled storage facility. The Rochester facility is conveniently located in Greece, N.Y.
