TT electronics-IMS Wins AVIAGE Business for China Aviation Market

TT electronics integrated manufacturing services announced that it won electronics manufacturing business for the C919 aircraft project of China from AVIAGE systems, the JV between General Electric and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China.

Jan. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Suzhou City, China -- TT electronics integrated manufacturing services (TT electronics-IMS) announced today that it has provided manufacturing services for the System Integrated Verification Bench (SIVB) for AVIAGE. The SIVB is used to test avionics equipment of the highly anticipated C919 aircraft project of China.

AVIAGE Systems, a joint venture between General Electric and Aviation Industry Corporation of China that was established in 2012, provides fully integrated, open architecture avionics solutions for C919 of the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) as well as other next generation commercial aircraft programs.

As the first electronics manufacturing services provider in China to receive Nadcap accreditations (AC7120) for printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and (AC7121) for cable and  harness assembly, TT electronics-IMS was poised to win this business. With Nadcap, a prestigious accreditation from the global cooperative accreditation program for aerospace engineering and related industries, TT electronics-IMS ensures quality electronics manufacturing services based on detailed and proven methodologies.
