Additive Manufacturing just got a whole lot bigger at LPE

LPE expand SLA capacity with the addition of the iPro8000 SLA machine.

Jan. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- UK and Ireland’s longest established Rapid Prototyping bureau LPE have announced the expansion of their Additive Manufacturing capabilities following the installation of the iPro8000. Boasting a build capacity of 750 x 650 x 550mm the addition of the iPro 8000 to the existing SLA facilities represents a significant increase in SLA production capabilities at LPE.

Commenting on this expansion Sales and Marketing Director, Campbell Evans stated;

“We believe the introduction of the iPro8000 will have a considerable impact for LPE customers across a wide range of industry sectors. Large or full sized components will no longer require splitting and bonding with the iPro 8000 more than doubling our maximum SLA build platform.  This growth in build size will not only allow better economies of scale for large SLA production runs, it will also ensure greater part accuracy and increased strength on plastic parts that would previously require splitting and bonding".

Offering a wide range of SLA materials LPE will offer both Ceramax and Xtreme for iPro 8000 production runs.
