NATUREWALK Costa Rica plans acquisition of electric trams for its pineapple & coffee plantation

Jan. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- NATUREWALK, with it's automotive subsidiary, Electro-mov corporation, has initiated the the investigation into the purchase of electric tram and shuttle vehicles for its Coffee and Pineapple Plantation attraction. The attraction, due to open in 2013 at NATUREWALK will feature electric sustainable technology used in other Electro-mov featured vehicles.

ELECTRO-MOV (pronounced 'electro-move' ) Is NATUREWALK's initiative to bring clean energy and automobiles into Central America including Costa Rica. A variety of the vehicles are planned including passenger cars, buses and off-road vehicles such as ATVs for use at the Naturewalk Adventure Center.

Electric vehicles are planed for Naturewalk's Pineapple and coffee plantation, a hybrid agricultural and touristic development planned for a public opening in 2013. The Initial project will include 30 acres of rolling pineapple and coffee plantation fields. 8 and 14 person electric shuttle trams will be used to move people between educational display points featuring the growing and lifecycle of these two very important crops for Costa Rica. Guided walkable private tours will also be offered. Naturewalk's fresh pineapples and private label coffee will be available for purchase at the gift center on the site. Stage two attractions and amenities on the site will include a horticultural garden with lakes and bridges and a 18 unit estate coffee hotel and visitor center.
