-- UrbanScooters.com announces the addition of the new Go-Ped Trail Ripper Interceptor, a gas scooter form Go-Ped that is based on the earlier Go-Ped Trail Ripper. UrbanScooters.com is a web-based distributor of gas and electric scooters, among other recreational and commuting vehicles.
The Go-Ped GTR46i Interceptor is different from the Trail Ripper primarily in that it is designed for street use, as opposed to an off-road focus. Some of the features implemented towards this end include the new kickstand, a new quieter exhaust system, smooth ride AT Primo Duro Trap aggressive treaded street tires, GSR46R 6-76 sprocket drive ratio.
Many of the important features and components from the former model are retained in the GTR46i, such as the C.I.D.L.I. (Cantilevered Independant Dynamic Linkless Indispension)
suspension system, with which the rear and front swing arms work to enhance rider stability. These swing arms are made of magnesium to increase wheel-to-ground contact.
The owner of UrbanScooters.com, Frank Minero, said this on the subject: “If you're looking for a quality, high-speed scooter for racing on streets or other paved terrain, you might have trouble finding one that is truly designed for streets. With the GTR46i, we will now have an easy fulfilling those demands.”
The GTR46i has a top speed of 30 miles per hour, and is propelled by a single-cylinder, two stroke GP460RS engine. The frame is made of aircraft quality 4130 Chromyl and reinforced with aluminum. The Drive system include a centrifugal clutch and chain, and the 1.5 liter tank accepts unleaded gasoline. High octane is recommended by the manufacturer.
