Do not ask me to track your cell phone - never ever

We are not here to track anyone's cell phone, but to provide you with information about what to do before and after you lose your phone.

Jan. 10, 2013 - PRLog -- I have received a few Emails sent via this site from people whose cell phone goes missing. They generally asked me to track down their cell phone, either by phone number or IMEI number. Well I do feel sorry for those who get their handset stolen, together with their contacts, photos, apps and even more. But this is not something we can do, or what we are here for.

We have developed a few tools and apps for people to track their cell phone. These tools and apps are available for various platforms, such as iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Symbian, even feature phones can take advantage of our offerings. Namely these online tools and apps are GPS tracker, GSM tracker, WiFi tracker and cell phone finder etc. In the meantime, we have many posts introducing these apps, and review software from other third-party person or company.

However we are not here to help individuals to track their lost handset, that's not what we are here for. In fact, we hare trying our best to educate cell phone owners, before or after their phones get missing. This is our mission and we would do whatever we can to help others.

Unfortunately people are not aware of this. They buy a phone without conscious that their phone could be lost or stolen, not until then will they start to learn how to protect their handset and data from theft. This is a time usually too late for normal people to get involved. In this case they need to report the unfortunately incident to the police and their carrier and get a new one.

As we all know, millions of cell phones get stolen around the world according to lookout mobile security. The thief could resell those mobile devices for huge profit, and that's why cell phone theft happen everyday. At the moment, Canada and New York city law enforcement and carriers are working on a joint project to keep track and listen in on stolen phone using IMEI numbers. So the first thing to do for anyone lost his phone is to report it to the carrier and police.

If you have priceless data on your phone or want to learn how to protect or track your phone, you can visit our website here http://www.gsmphonetracker.com. You can select mobile tracking apps for your handset depending on the OS and model. Most of them are free of charge and come with detailed user guide, you just need to follow them.

If you have any other questions, we would be happy to answer them. You can reach us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/cellphonetracking, and leave a comment there, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
