Carolina Hair Surgery Opens First Charlotte Area FUE Hair Restoration practice
Under the direction of Michael Vories, M.D., the practice in Fort Mill, SC will exclusively offer follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplantation to reverse hair loss in men and women.
An FUE procedure extracts individual hair follicles and transplants the follicles to designated areas of the scalp where hair loss has occurred. This procedure is less invasive and minimizes visible scarring compared to other hair transplant procedures where long strips of hair follicles are removed. With FUE, the precise and careful extraction of each donor hair and subsequent transplantation dramatically reverses hair loss and eliminates the need for sutures and additional surgeries.
“People wanting to do something about their hair loss tend to do a lot of research to find out what options are available,” said Dr. Vories. “The FUE procedure improves upon every negative side affect that can be found with other hair transplant procedures making the FUE approach very desirable. Since I perform this procedure exclusively in my practice in Charleston, we get a lot of patients from the Charlotte area. A growing patient-base and interest in FUE has made it very compelling to expand the practice here.”
Free consultations with Dr. Vories are available and appointments can be made by calling (803) 217-3065.
