EdimyFilms Presents New TV Pilot For Women in Entertainment-“Breaking the Glass”

Jan. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- “Breaking the Glass” is a new television pilot produced by EdimyFilms that empowers and inspires women who dream of being in show business. “I wanted to create a film that shows a positive image of women in entertainment”, states Edimy Michel, CEO of EdimyFilms and director of the pilot.  

Set in New York, the pilot follows Misha, Lana, Annabelle, and London as they struggle to make a name for themselves in the male-dominated entertainment industry. These women all have unique stories but similar struggles.

Misha works hard to prove herself as a magazine writer, but is suppressed by her perverted boss who refuses to acknowledge her work. Lana, a film school graduate, struggles to find a way into the film industry while her male classmates do so with ease. Annabelle is a hard working intern at one of the top independent film studios in New York City. No matter how hard she works, however, Annabelle’s bosses refuse to listen. London, once a rich a spoiled socialite, is forced to learn independence after her parents cut her off. She soon realizes that her once-strong connections in the fashion and entertainment industry will not be enough to succeed now; there is no replacement for hard work.

After their difficult experiences and a complete loss of hope, the girls finally realize that if they are going to make it in this high paced world they must think like men! They decide to leave everything behind and begin an exciting journey with their own production company, by women and for women! Can they make it?
