Texas Trust Recognizes Employees of the Year
Texas Trust Credit Union recognized three employees for their exemplary service in 2012.
Employee of the year is Steve Heidel, a programmer and technical analyst. He was nominated for his exemplary service, dedication, and leadership during a challenging transition within Texas Trust's technology operation.
Espy Ramos was named manager of the year. Ramos is a seven-year employee of Texas Trust and is an assistant branch manager. Ramos received a large number of nominations from her team members and peers citing her teamwork ethic, positive attitude, and unwavering commitment to serving members.
Assistant Vice President Delana Huling also walked away with top employee honors. Huling played an integral role in the opening of a new branch, serving as the primary facilitator and coordinator. Her role in hiring and training all employees and coordinating activities prior to the branch opening were pivotal to opening on time and creating a positive impression within the community.
"Every employee is integral to our operation, but these three stand out because they reflect our core values in everything they do," said Jim Minge, president of Texas Trust Credit Union. "Their colleagues, peers, and members highly respect them and can trust them to follow through on their promises, which makes them worthy of being recognized as employees of the year."
The three employees were nominated by their peers and voted on by the executive management team. Top honors went to the employees that best exemplified the credit union's key values: collaborate, communicate and celebrate; provide service others brag about; be an agent of positive change; and take ownership of what you do.
