    Several years ago, the line’s creator, Michelle Pearson, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.  Along with a daily medication regimen, Michelle (already a vegetarian) adopted a gluten-free diet to assist in easing her symptoms with the hopeful goal of putting the disease in remission.  This put her on a path of also looking for body and skin care products that were gluten-free and natural.  “I was simply frustrated by a lack of available options,” said Pearson. “So, I decided to research effective ingredients that met my personal needs with the goal of creating a brand of naturally derived skin treatment products that were gluten-free, chemical-free, and vegetarian and would not irritate my skin or that of my son. (he inherited my sensitive skin).”
