Cinemartini event to take place Thursday, January 17th, screening of the short film, MAMA

Jan. 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Cinemartini will hold its monthly film screening and networking event on Thursday, January 17th, 8pm at R Bar, 3331 W. 8th St. in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles. Along with several other films, Cinemartini will screen Andrés Muschietti’s short film, Mama. The short film was a resounding success, and Universal Pictures will be releasing it as a feature starring Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty, The Help). The film will be released on Friday, January 18th.
Each month Cinemartini screens short films by established and up-and-coming filmmakers, providing an opportunity for exhibition with a potential for networking in a relaxed setting. Cinemartini is committed to promoting the diverse talents of young filmmakers and championing broad and open communication between the film professionals of today and tomorrow. The screening and networking event is held monthly at R Bar in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles.
