By: Key Consultancy www.facebook.com/ Latest reports declare that small businesses, particularly in Scotland, are confident that this year business should finally increase revenue after the on-going recession. Key Consultancy, with offices in Waterloo, Canary Wharf and Leeds discuss how they are preparing for a business boom this year! With the past few years being extremely tough on businesses, it is great to finally hear some good news that business owners are finally thinking positive. “With such hard- hitting conditions for businesses recently, today’s business owner is tougher than they were a few years ago, and so typical struggles that businesses face aren’t seemed as tough as they were creating confidence, especially in smaller businesses like ourselves at Key Consultancy” “The funny thing is, all you see in the news at the moment, are fuel and energy costs rising, as well as the cost of travel, before you know it even the cost of basic goods like cereal will probably increase! But business owners are more confident now than ever before. I think that really is a great sign that the recession will soon disappear.” says Emma of Key Consultancy, Waterloo. Typically, smaller businesses are known to struggle, with most businesses failing within one year of opening; however it appears that this year it is the larger businesses that are struggling. A recent statement released by Morrison’s shows that their Christmas sales were down 2.5%, although they expect to hit targets throughout the year, it is not a great start for them for the New Year. “Smaller businesses are fighting back, here at Key Consultancy we have huge plans to expand this year by opening more offices around the UK, and by the end of the year overseas” says Hicham, Managing Director of Key Consultancy” So maybe this year could be the year those larger businesses move out of the way and allow smaller businesses to create a good profit, to gain a larger customer and consumer base. “We will have to wait and see, but we have very high hopes that 2013 will be a big year, especially for us at Key Consultancy” If you have ever thought about opening a business, with the predicted forecast for small businesses this year, now would be the time to do it. www.keyconsultancy.org.uk www.facebook.com/ End
