Donna Richardson-Joyner's ‘Witness to Fitness’ Named EEW Magazine’s ‘Best Book of the Year'
EEW Magazine President & CEO, Dianna Hobbs, announces 2013 official “Best Book of the Year” Award selection. Donna Richardson-Joyner’s “Witness to Fitness” has been awarded this year’s top honor for a first-time author.
Richardson-Joyner, is an enthusiastic Christian motivator and member of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition (PCFSN). Her inspirational fitness programs are currently in 150 churches across the nation. She has traveled to 50 states, 50 countries, and 7 continents helping millions to get fit—physically and spiritually.
“When I read Donna Richardson Joyner’s book, Witness to Fitness, I was instantly excited about the strong biblical foundation all her motivation was built upon,” said Hobbs in a statement. “Unlike some fitness books that focus on outward appearance and quick-fix strategies, Donna digs much deeper, using faith and the word of God to encourage total health in mind, body, and spirit. It is most deserving of EEW Magazine’s distinguished ‘Best Book of the Year’ honor.”

“I think what was inspiring to me about writing the book was that I could motivate people to vxwpp live a more productive, powerful, and purposeful life,” said Richardson-Joyner, whose book’s foreword is written by one of America’s most powerful preachers, Bishop T.D. Jakes, also the author’s pastor. “And that’s why, for me, in helping the millions of people that I’ve helped, it focused on those three things: transforming your mind, living in the spirit, and loving your body.”
