Fluke proposes new Corporate Gangster Strategy to Reduce Detroit Crime

Fluke, the monopoly of inventions, so named by participants at the Detroit Maker Faire who sampled the game,  exposes players to thrilling scientific research, wacky inventions, stock explosions, gigantic wealth and legal duels. Players build a portfolio of cash, patents and research corporations as they maneuver through the Risk and Rewards in the wild, wild world of intellectual property. Players with the largest portfolio of assets wins.

Startups and small businesses are the backbone of the American economy. They are responsible for the vast majority of all new jobs created in the United States; they are the nation's greatest source of innovation; and they are critical to helping restore U.S. competitiveness,"Center for Public Policy Innovation President and CEO Chris Long states. According to statistics, small businesses create 70 percent of the jobs in America, and technological innovation is responsible for 85 percent of our growth in per capita income.

Communities become prosperous when companies can raise funding and sell products as these companies are able to hire employees.  For this reason, Corporate America and President Obama are demanding innovation. What they really want is inventions.  Innovation is defined as profitable inventions, mathematically represented as INNOVATION = INVENTIONS + PROFITS TM. Inventions are an act or instance of creating or producing by exercise of the imagination.  No one can predict which invention will be profitable. It is a gamble at best. The only way to win is to invent and keep inventing.

Criminals are entrepreneurs albeit they are selling an illegal product. Many are earning millions of dollars equivalent to small entrepreneurial start-ups. Rather than lock them up in prison and jails, we need to harness that entrepreneurial ability. I propose   assigning these high powered criminals to an invention product creation camp. They can  learn from the biographies of the greatest corporate gangsters,  such as Cornelius Vanderbilt, Andrew Carnegie, JP Morgan, Henry Ford John D, Rockefeller followed by playing  Fluke to simulate the operation of gangs in Corporate America  and eventually the creation of new products. Imagine the growth  of inner cities if illegal entrepreneurs become legal entrepreneurs. Jobs would be created. Income would be flowing. Crime would decrease.
